Elo is launching a 55-inch interactive display that is the latest addition to its 4K line, according to a press release.
The touchscreen includes digital signage, self-service, corporate collaboration, whiteboarding and huddle room engagement. Both the 65-inch display introduced in June and the new 5553L come conference-ready with the option to add Elo's conference camera accessory and the Windows Elo Computer Module.
"Our new 55-inch 4K interactive display and adjustable conference camera provide a seamless and reliable interactive solution for any environment," Craig Witsoe, Elo CEO, said in the release. "With 4K resolution, gorgeous color and precision touch all built using our unified architecture, the 5553L makes it easy for businesses to deliver immersive interactive experiences anywhere, from the retail floor to the corporate board room."
Available with infrared or projective capacitive touch technology, the 5553L display gives customers the ability to configure solutions using Elo Edge Connect peripherals and accessories. Attaching on any side of the 5553L— including any combination of the Elo conference camera, NFC/RFID reader and barcode reader — enables applications from video conferencing and in-store product information to immersive brand experiences.
Powered by an Intel Core CPU and graphics engine, adding the Elo Computer Module transforms the 5553L into a life-sized wall tablet. The computer module requires no external cables. Shipped pre-loaded with Qwizdom's annotation and whiteboarding software, users can start interacting immediately with either the optional touchscreen stylus or the touch of a finger.
Customers also have the option to purchase the ECMG4 model pre-loaded with DisplayNote Montage software, empowering users to bring their own device to meetings. This wireless meeting software enables content sharing from any device onto the Elo touchscreen, with no cables or connection struggles.
Elo's conference camera was designed to help streamline installation and adoption of video conferencing in meeting and huddle rooms. With features like full high-definition video, adjustable slide positioning and integrated automatic echo cancellation, the Elo conference camera optimizes an audience's ability to focus on the presentation.
The conference camera supports web conferencing applications, including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco WebEx, GoToMeeting and BlueJeans. The device is also compatible with video conferencing applications on select Windows, Android, Linux and Mac computers.
