Crystal Displays will roll out 84-inch transparent display at ISE

Crystal Display Systems is set to launch a new transparent display during the Integrated Systems Europe trade show next month in Amsterdam. The company said the 84-inch 4K display (2 x FHD at 3840 x 2160 pixels), which is touch interactive, is the world's largest transparent display.

Last year, CDS chose ISE to roll out its 70-inch transparent display.

To introduce the new display, CDS will use a fashion theme with a model behind the display to demonstrate the technology. "Last year all the major manufacturers came to see this unique display," CDS managing director Chris Bartram said in a news release, adding that the company expects a repeat this year.

CDS will also show its digital multi-display shelf edge solution, transparent showcases and ultra-wide stretched monitors, the company said.

ISE is set for Feb. 4-6.
