ChoiceTech Korea has installed an AI-powered skin analysis kiosk at Torriden Connect Seongsu, the skincare brand's flagship store in Seoul, South Korea, according to a press release.
The ChoiceDx self-service kiosk evaluates customers' skin conditions and recommends Torriden products based on individual assessment results, offering shoppers a personalized approach to selecting skincare products.
The kiosk uses AI algorithms and optical imaging technology to assess skin characteristics, including pigmentation, oil levels, pores and wrinkles. Customers receive product recommendations tailored to their results and can scan a QR code to access their assessments on their mobile devices after leaving the store.
ChoiceTech Korea customized the kiosk's interface and recommendation software to reflect Torriden's branding and product offerings. The company, which provides AI-powered skin and scalp analysis technology in more than 60 countries, said the deployment demonstrates how retailers can incorporate automated consultations into their stores.
