Audiso hearing test kiosk earns South Korean procurement designation

Audiso Inc.'s AI-powered hearing test kiosk, WithHear, has been designated an Innovative Product by South Korea's Public Procurement Service, according to a press release. Developed with technical teams and ear, nose and throat specialists from Yonsei University College of Medicine, WithHear is designed to conduct hearing measurements and analyze eardrum images in about five minutes without a soundproof booth. The system uses Korean auditory reference data and AI algorithms intended to control for noise in real-world testing environments.

Audiso said the kiosk could expand hearing screening at public health centers, schools, military facilities and local government welfare sites that lack specialized staff or equipment. CEO Young Joon Seo said the company plans to use the procurement designation to pursue partnerships with local governments and public health institutions. Audiso is a faculty startup from Yonsei University's Department of Otorhinolaryngology that develops AI-based products for hearing loss and tinnitus care.
