That old joke about "people dying to get in there" still applies at cemeteries in Savannah, Ga., however technology has changed it up a bit. The city and the Bonaventure Historical Society Inc. unveiled a new information kiosk Tuesday to help visitors keep track of their loved ones buried at Bonaventure Cemetery.
According to a story by the Southeast News Leader, hundreds of thousands of people are buried there, and after 15 years of loading every name, burial and date into a computer database the cemetery director decided to load the information into a kiosk.
The kiosk is located on the front porch of the Bonaventure Administrative Building at the main entrance to Bonaventure Cemetery, 330 Bonaventure Road.
