Banyan Hills Technologies joins Intel IoT Solutions alliance

Internet of Things consultant and software platform provider Banyan Hills Technologies has joined the Intel Internet of Things Solutions Alliance as a general member, according to a press release. The alliance, which includes Intel and about 400 other companies, provides scalable, interoperable solutions that accelerate the implementation of smart devices, connected networks and end-to-end analytics. 

Banyan's expertise in design, development, installation and maintenance of both 32- and 64-bit architectures, including Intel x86, ARM, PowerPC and MIPS chipsets, helps support IoT implementations at scale. 

"The Internet of Things is one of the fastest growing technology markets," Steve Latham, CEO and founder, Banyan Hills Technologies, said in the release. "According to McKinsey research, by 2025, the total global worth of IoT technology could be as much as $6.2 trillion."
