Advanced Kiosks has released a video summarizing ways that interactive kiosks can improve employee self-service and free HR professionals from extensive paperwork.
The video, Human Resources Employee Solution, explains how employees who don't have access to a PC at work can use the document kiosk for a variety of human resource tasks. Paystub information and benefit enrollment and changes are just the beginning of what's possible, according to a press release.
Businesses are using HR kiosks for employee training and surveys, OSHA compliance, form printing, scanning and submission and more. Hardware options further increase functionality, with ID card scanners and VoIP handsets that directly connect workers to HR personnel when a personal touch is needed.
Last year, the American Payroll Association reported that 82 percent of American workers have access to online, self-service portals for viewing personal pay and benefits information, the press release said.
