Panera Bread introduced its Panera to You concept earlier this year, and its second location opened in April in Louisville, Ky.

The new, smaller footprint store is focused on delivery and take-out. The store layout is dominated by ordering, order pick-up and wait-area seating. While the store is designed to facilitate delivery and take-out, limited seating for dining is also available inside the store and in a patio area outside.

Customers can order online or order from the Panera mobile app and schedule pick-up up to five days in advance.

In the store, customers can place orders at the counter, or at free-standing iPad kiosks. Kiosks include MyPanera integration, so customers can save customizations, past order and favorites for future orders. Credit card payment is also offered at the kiosk.

Customers pick up orders from a shelving unit near the counter. The shelving unit includes a monitor which displays real-time order status.

Delivery service is also offered in a limited area for orders as small as $5.
