Zebra Instant introduces self-service photo print terminal

Zebra Instant, a provider of smartphone photo printing and monetization technology, has introduced the Zebra Instant POS terminal, a self-service point-of-sale kiosk that allows consumers to turn smartphone photos into prints and merchandise, according to a press release.

The kiosk, 11-by-17-by-17 inches, features an 11.6-inch IPS touchscreen and credit card reader. 

Zebra Instant's text-to-print photo transfer technology allows smartphone users to text their photos to the terminal, just as they would text photos to a friend. Users can also transfer photos via a mobile web app. Once the photos are transferred, users swipe their credit cards and pick up their prints. 

Operators can set prices and track sales in real time through the Zebra Instant administrative portal. Operators can also build opt-in SMS marketing lists and place their logos and messages on prints and merchandise.
