Versatile Credit delivers credit kiosks to Aamco

Versatile Credit has teamed up with the car care company Aamco Franchise, to deliver its retail credit solution to the company. Versatile Credit deploys kiosks to allow customers to apply for retail credit, according to a press release.

Aamco customers will be able to use a Versatile Credit kiosk to apply for a loan for their repair services. If primary lenders deny the user credit, the kiosk will automatically send the application to secondary lenders. This process has reduced credit denials by up to 40 percent, according to the release.

"Versatile Credit's proprietary software has a proven track record of providing a network of leading lending partners and services that can reduce lost sales," said Vicki Turjan, president of Versatile Systems. "Our self-service, kiosk-based solution will allow Aamco's customers to apply for credit using a secure and reliable touch-screen interface that requires little to no assistance from staff."

"Having more than one financing option has been a major tool for our customer service managers," said Doug Peterson, owner of Aamco center in Canton, Ohio. "Many customers feel more secure using the Versatile kiosk because they do not have to verbally give out their personal information. In addition, our customer service managers no longer have to tell customers that they were not approved by a lender, which has helped decrease negative customer interactions. I'm happy that Aamco continues to support its franchisees and improve systems internally, especially the financing options we offer to consumers."
