United Airlines is being sued over the touch screen technology of its self-check-in kiosks by an advocacy group for the blind, according to USA TODAY.
The National Federation of the Blind filed the class-action lawsuit Tuesday in California charging that United violates the state's Disabled Persons Act because its kiosks are not available to blind passengers. The Federation said in a statement that United could add an "audio interface, a tactile keyboard or interactive screen reader technology that works with touch screens to its kiosks."
United responded in a statement that it is in compliance with the Air Carrier Access Act.
