Vue, a UK cinema operator, has appointed Evoke Creative Ltd., a UK-based provider of interactive kiosks, to provide ticketing machines at movie theaters, according to a press release.
Following a successful trial at the Cribbs Causeway site in Bristol, Evoke will install its kiosks at Vue's Leicester Square flagship, as part of a 6.6 million pounds investment in the landmark West End site.
The kiosks feature 32-inch touchscreens set in either free standing or wall mounted units. They allow customers to purchase or collect pre-booked tickets quickly, streamlining the customer journey and allowing them more time to browse the food and beverage offering.
"We're committed to providing our customers with truly immersive big screen entertainment, and that starts from the moment they walk through the door," Paschalis Loucaides, Vue's head of retail, said in the press release. "The redesigned foyer layout creates a slicker, more memorable customer journey. The digital kiosks are a key part of this and allow cinema goers to spend more time enjoying the overall experience."
"We are delighted to be working with Vue to help deliver an engaging experience for its customers," said Neil Clark, Evoke Creative co-founder and chief commercial officer. "We were commissioned to design and manufacture a bespoke kiosk that aptly utilizes reflective surfaces and lighting to create a modern, top-end aesthetic."
