U-Vend secures vending rights to Del Monte snacks

Santa Monica, California-based U-Vend Inc. has been named the exclusive vendor of Del Monte Brand Healthy Snacks and Squeezers.

Santa Monica, California-based U-Vend Inc. has been named the exclusive vendor of Del Monte Brand Healthy Snacks and Squeezers, the company announced.

The self-service electronic kiosk company will provide Del Monte branded self-service kiosks and merchandisers in the U.S.

“We are very excited to partner with Del Monte Foods Inc., a globally-known and respected company whose premium products have been enjoyed by individuals and families for many, many generations. This relationship is consistent with our goal of becoming a leading provider of high-quality consumer products utilizing the widespread, strategic placements of our next-generation, self-serve kiosks and merchandisers across the country,” said Raymond Meyers, Chief Executive Officer of U-Vend Inc, in the announcement.

The kiosks allow remote management and will distribute Del Monte’s healthy snack line, including Del Monte Fruit Naturals Cups and Del Monte Fruit Bursts Squeezers in high-traffic areas such as schools, hospitals, airports and more. Kiosk operators can go online and check and maintain bank deposits, advertisements, inventory, promotions and sales.
