Kiosk manufacturer TravelersBox, which provides kiosks that convert excess foreign currency into digital currency, has partnered with Russian electronic payment service Yandex.Money. Now users will be able to convert their foreign currency into funds for their Yandex.Money eWallets, according to a press release.
TravelersBox kiosks are located in airports worldwide, and give users several options. For example, they can convert their currency into Paypal funds, gift cards or a charitable donation.
"Our mission is to provide an easy way for travelers to regain the lost value of their unused foreign currency," said Tomer Zussman, founder and CEO of TravelersBox. "By partnering with Yandex.Money, Russia's most widely used payment service, we give our customers even more flexibility via the option to use one of the world's most popular services."
Yandex.Money has 20 million user accounts, according to Anna Kuzmina, deputy chief commercial officer, Yandex.Money. "Thanks to TravelersBox, Yandex.Money account holders now have opportunity to exchange their currency leftovers to their e-wallets when travelling overseas to London, Istanbul, Tbilisi, Rome and other worldwide cities," Kuzmina said.
TravelersBox kiosks are available at airports in Italy, the U.K., Turkey and Georgia.
