New self-service ticketing kiosks are set to deploy across London. The touchscreen kiosks by Alevrico willgive visitors and tourists the ability to browse shows, excursions and attractions across the city, according to a company press release.
The company plans to deploy the kiosks at tourist hotspots such as hotels, souvenir shops and popular attractions. The kiosks have a 12-language interface, instant ticketing and events information for 350 attractions in and around the city, and accept payment from all major debit and credit cards.
"We want to make the purchase of tickets more transparent and easy for tourists and visitors to London," said Alevrico founder Konstantin Zaripov, in the press release. "It's an evolutionary step forward for the industry. Customers are already leaning towards fast and convenient self-service in a number of sectors — shopping and banking for example — (and) it makes sense for tourism to follow suit."
