TouchSuite, a financial technology company, has invested in Grubbrr, a platform for kiosks, point-of-sale, mobile and online ordering. Grubbrr plans to use the investment to integrate its AI and facial recognition technologies into kiosks, according to a press release.
Grubbrr aims to provide kiosk, POS and other solutions to smaller restaurant chains in every vertical including food trucks, coffee shops, QSRs and fast casuals.
"Every consumer has been to a McDonald's and has seen the efficiencies of their self-order kiosks. Grubbrr's platform enables businesses of any size to have access to similar ordering technologies without having to invest tens of millions of dollars like McDonald's did," Sam Zietz, CEO, TouchSuite, said in the release. "We're excited to work with the team at Grubbrr to help fulfill their entrepreneurial vision."
