Telemark Diversified Graphics, a provider of thermal paper products, including paper used in kiosks, ATMs, POS systems, mobile printers and parking tickets, has teamed with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant 30,000 trees in the Mississippi River Valley, according to a press release.
Telemark launched the partnership as part of its sustainability efforts, and will support the initiative with a percentage of its sales over the course of three years, with plans to continue the program long-term.
"Through our partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, our aim is to replace the trees used to manufacture our customers' products, and plant them in areas that need them most," Brandon Kent, Telemark vice president of sales and marketing, said in the press release. "As the first thermal paper manufacturer conducting this type of reforestation campaign, we hope to serve as the model for others in similar businesses."
