Hospitality software provider Cenium announced the implementation of its FastTrack self-service kiosk and mobile interactions at two Nordic Choice Hotel locations within The Comfort Express brand.

The Comfort Express targets younger travelers interested in simplicity and digital options for their travel experience. Cenium's FastTrack kiosk provides check-in/out services combined with SMS communication prior to arrival for self-service check-in. Travelers identify themselves via QR code, name and other secure information and sign in with the swipe of a credit card at the kiosk. The process can be configured to include key card encoding, chip and pin authorization, folio emailing and service options.

The kiosk is outfitted with 'a sleek iPad air' that includes flexible furniture and mounting options, the company said.

"Cenium FastTrack mobile interaction and self-service kiosks provides an intuitive technology option to our younger and our travel savvy guests which speeds up and enriches the service offerings our hotels provide guests," said Oscar Edholm, CIO of Nordic Choice Hotels, in a statement. "At Comfort Express, Cenium FastTrack fits our brand concept 100% and proves our commitment to continually launch innovative solutions which is to be expected from the largest hotel chain in Scandinavia."
