Telemedicine solutions provider teams with Olea Kiosks

AMD Global Telemedicine Inc., a provider of clinical telemedicine solutions, and Olea Kiosks Inc., a designer and manufacturer of self-service kiosks, have announced a partnership to deliver customized kiosks for telehealth applications, according to a press release.

The companies have combined their engineering and technology resources to offer a solution that addresses increasing demands for areas such as chronic disease management, healthcare screening, wellness programs and occupational health clinics.

The new, customizable telemedicine kiosk solution provides healthcare organizations with options for self check-in, patient assessment, video conferencing, digitization of medical records and payment.

"The future of telehealth depends on our ability to make it as convenient and seamless as possible to deliver healthcare on-demand, and healthcare kiosks do just that," Eric Bacon, president of AMD Global Telemedicine, said in the press release.
