Talyst will exhibit its remote medication dispensing solution InSite System at the 2014 LeadingAge Annual Meeting in Nashville, Tennessee October 19-22, 2014.

The medication solution allows long term care facilities to dispense medication onsite and on demand, the company said, and helps ensure accuracy and eliminate waiting. The system is designed to free employees from the repetitive motion and time spent dispensing medication.

"Long term care nurses have challenging jobs, where there is constant pressure to quickly and accurately dispense and deliver medication to patients. Talyst's InSite technology makes this task easier by providing onsite, on demand unit dose medication packaging," said George Kondrach, General Manager of Talyst's Extended Care business unit, in a company news release. "Our technology enables nurses to spend less time on the medication pass process and more time on patient care. It has been shown to improve their employment satisfaction while reducing their exposure to repetitive processes that can adversely affect their long term health."
