StayNTouch upgades ID scanning and facial recognition

StayNTouch, a software-as-a-service hotel property management systems provider, recently enhanced the ID scanning and facial recognition functionality for its self-service kiosk, Mobile PMS, according to a hospitalitynet.org report. StayNTouch uses artificial intelligence to make ID authentication scanning as fast as taking a selfie while protecting against false impersonation and fraud.

The facial recognition software matches a guest's face to their photo ID. The kiosk can also scan textual elements of an ID to create or search for a reservation without asking guests to enter the information manually.
