Source Technologies announces self-serve kiosk for retail banking

Source Technologies, a hardware manufacturer, software developer and integrator of kiosk solutions and magnetic ink character recognition check printing systems, has announced its 10-Series kiosk for retail banking. (MICR is a formulation of toner used to print the specialized font at the bottom of checks and other documents, according to the company.)

The kiosk has been designed for financial institutions working to transition mundane teller transactions to self-service kiosks that integrate with their core systems, the company said in a press release. 

"The implementation of in-branch self-service kiosks has become an integral part of financial institutions leveraging new technology to optimize productivity and serve clients with world-class customer service," Keith Hamilton, CEO of Source Technologies said in the release.

The kiosk will be available in the second quarter of 2019.
