A local business in Chattanooga, Tenn., unveiled a mobile solar vending kiosk developed by VendoMax, suppliers of off-grid, sustainable vending equipment.
According to an article on wdef.com, the mobile unit is powered by solar panels and includes a recycling area for bottles and cans. It machine has the capability of running up to five days without sunlight hitting the solar panels and also features the option to charge electronic devices such as phones and laptops.
"We hope it's something some of the big corporations around Chattanooga really like, and decide this is something they could really use at events, and hopefully we'll be able to fabricate some more of them for these guys," said Troy Williams, sales director for Engineered Mechanical Systems, Vendmax's manufacturing partner.
