Pyramid Computer develops kiosk to cook, assemble burgers

Pyramid Computer GmbH,  a provider of self-checkout kiosks, QSR order terminals and indoor positioning systems, has developed the polytouch 32 "Make-O-Mat" which manufactures and delivers burgers, according to a press release.

The kiosk terminal contains a patty cooler, a patty roaster and a programmed assembly unit. The unit fries the patties and assembles the burger. All common products can be programmed.

The product has been tested at various restaurants, the release said.

The unit offers various mounting options, including wall- or pedestal-mount. The self-service terminal can be equipped with a chip and pin payment device, 2D scanner and NFC reader, and an automatic puck dispenser.

A service flap allows access to the PC-Box and printer paper. The touch display unit can be replaced without having to change the entire POS terminal.

The kiosk's color can be customized.
