Stores in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania and Totowa, New Jersey can now access Piecemaker 3D toys through a partnership with Toys"R"Us, according to a company announcement.
Kiosk Marketplace interviewed Piecemaker CEO Arden Rosenblatt back in September in a feature that profiled the company's 3D print kiosks. Using the kiosks, shoppers can create custom pieces on demand in about a half hour, including jewelry, key chains and toys, and watch the process via kiosk screen.
The Toys"R"US pilot program marks a progression for the startup, as the company enters the big box retail arena for the first time.
