Becky Fullmer, a resident of Annville, Pennsylvania, has started a healthy vending machine business, reports the Lebanon Daily News. She currently has five machines installed at various locations, and the machnes accept debit cards and include modems so she can monitor stock levels.
Fullmer started her business called Healthy Snack Shack Vending, after seeing similar machines on a trip to California.
According to Fullmer’s website, Healthy Snack Shack Vending offers ADA-compliant refrigerated machines vending a combination of healthy drinks and snacks in central Pennsylvania. The business also offers an honor system of boxes and small fridges for small businesses.
Fullmer said on her website that she has done extensive national research and local sampling with a focus group to find the most delicious and affordable healthy snacks on the market. Healthy Snack Shack Vending strives to avoid GMOs, high-fructose corn syrup, refined sugars, unhealthy fats, hormones and artificial ingredients.
