Partner Tech launches Paula, an AI-powered self-service kiosk

Partner Tech USA Inc. unveiled Paula, a compact tabletop kiosk designed for self-checkout and self-ordering in retail and quick-service restaurant environments, according to a press release. The kiosk features AI-powered capabilities aimed at improving efficiency, reducing shrinkage and streamlining the customer experience.

Paula is available in two configurations: the Paula Kiosk for QSR self-ordering and the Paula SCO for retail self-checkout. Both models include a high-brightness touchscreen, built-in speaker, barcode scanner and receipt printer.

Optional peripherals include an ADA-compliant keypad, payment bracket and AI-powered camera with LED tri-light. The Paula SCO model incorporates AI-powered item recognition, theft prevention and optional age verification, along with Electronic Article Surveillance tag support. Both versions are powered by an Intel processor and offer optional cash payment modules.
