Parking kiosk manufacturer Cale plans to integrate Apple Pay for its Cale WebTerminal kiosks, according to a Cale press release. This will allow customers to use their iPhone 6 or Apple watch to send payment via radio wave.
Cale plans to showcase the technology at the International Parking Institutes trade show in Las Vegas. In addition to Apple Pay, the kiosks will also be able to accept payment from NFC mobile wallets.
"Cale was the first parking technology company to successfully deploy parking terminals allowing EMV chip-and-pin transactions in the U.K. in 2007," Cale Group CEO Anton Kaya said in the release. "We are continuing to provide cities, campuses and parking operators with the most secure and innovative payment solutions for their customers."
