Panel-Brite releases outdoor touch monitors

Panel-Brite, Inc., a supplier of sunlight readable, high bright monitors, has launched a line of projected capacitive, multi-touch models in sizes 15, 17, 19, and 21.5 inches, according to a press release. All models use wide operating temperature LCDs to withstand the outdoor weather, and they all have 1,600 nit LED backlit systems.

"It's always exciting to launch new products and provide customers with what they have been asking for," Keith Grapes, president of Panel-Brite, said in the press release. "This project started over a year ago when we surveyed our existing customers to ascertain what they wanted in an outdoor kiosk monitor. We used that valuable feedback to define our design specifications and the response to our soft rollout of these new displays has been very encouraging."

Each of the four new models include the following: 

• 1,600 nit LED backlit displays.
• PCAP multi-touch screens.
• All glass front design.
• Metal bezel protecting touchscreen.
• 21.5-inch model employs no-blackout technology.
• Fanless design.
• Auto light sensor for backlight dimming.

All four touch monitor sizes should be in stock in the U.S. and available for quick shipment from order receipt during the last quarter of 2019.
