Palmer Digital Group introduces retail checkout self-service kiosk

Palmer Digital Group, a newly-formed division of Industrial Enclosure Corp., a display and electrical enclosure manufacturer, has introduced its PDG SCHPCA-18, a self-service checkout kiosk designed for retail and grocery applications.

The new kiosk gives customers a faster, more private and more convenient alternative to long checkout lanes, according to a press release. 

The unit is constructed of 14 GA and 12 GA steel and features an HP E2t touch display, a Honeywell Xenon 1900 area image hand scanner, an Epson TM-H6000IV multifunction printer, a Honeywell Stratos 2400 bioptic scanner, a VeriFone MX 900 series card reader and a cpi Paypod E24 cash acceptor.

The kiosk can be painted any color and can also accept printed decals and full printed wraps.
