Xpedient, a division of Advanced Solutions, an Autodesk Platinum Partner and authorized training center, released nutritional information support for the Xpedient touchscreen kiosk system.
The company said the development assists its customers with the tools they need to advance the U.S. Food and Drug Administration nutritional standards for food labels and the Institute of Medicine nutritional standards for dietary intake.
Xpedient software technology provides a ground-up, end-to-end kiosk management suite, according to the company's news release. The applications enable users to build, deploy, manage and track a kiosk-driven solution.
Nutritional information support lets kiosk customers view nutritional information before ordering on an Xpedient Kiosk. Protein, sugar, fiber, total carbs, sodium, cholesterol, saturated fat, total fat, fat calories, calories and serving information are all supported.
"Health conscious individuals or those with certain dietary restrictions now have the ability to see nutritional information needed when making and placing an order," said Brandon Hanke, manager of software engineering. "We believe this provides a great benefit to the customer and can differentiate one store from another."
