New tablet kiosks integrate with Square for payments

Armodilo Display Solutions announced the release of custom-designed tablet kiosks to support Square's credit card reader for the Apple iPad and Samsung Galaxy Tab2.

The new design provides a customized credit card slot either on the left side of the unit (for the Apple iPads) or on the top of the unit (for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2s). Square-capable Armodilo head units fit onto any of Armodilo's existing tablet display solutions, the announcement said.

Iles Guran, founder and CEO of Armodilo Display Solutions, said the solution gives customers an out-of-the-box, hassle-free card processing option.

"The beauty of the Square card reader system is that it's quick and easy to set up and can be used by any business to process credit card payments in a variety of situations including supplementing alternate available processing methods," he said.
