New PC can be interactive kiosk or POS solution

With help from TekVisons Inc., small form-factor PC solution designer Shuttle Computer has launched a touch-screen, all-in-one personal computer solution.

"It's the only one on the market with serial ports and parallel ports, making it very suitable as an interactive kiosk or point-of-sale for vertical markets," said Nicolas Villalobos, director of Shuttle Computer, North America. "At the same time, Shuttle's all-in-one PC is one of the only models that allow you to customize it, as TekVisions has done."

This isn't the first partnership between Shuttle and TekVisions. TekVisions' touch-screen, point-of-sale solution designed for restaurant applications also uses a Shuttle PC.

"TekVisions is a premier provider of touch-screen solutions widely used in casinos, hospitals and clinics, schools, fast food and full-service restaurants and more," said Tom Cramer, vice president of sales at TekVisions.
