Payments and loyalty platform provider Nayax has introduced an AI layer for MoMa, its mobile management app for unattended and self-service operators, to help customers make faster, data-driven business decisions from their smartphones, according to a press release.

The update is designed for operators managing vending machines and other self-service equipment, allowing them to monitor sales, manage inventory, adjust pricing, process refunds and oversee entire fleets while on the move.

The AI enhancements include an AI assistant that answers questions using an operator's own business data, such as identifying underperforming machines or explaining revenue declines at specific locations. The update also offers planogram recommendations based on machine-level sales data and a visual recognition feature that creates planograms from a photo of a vending machine, significantly reducing the time needed to map product layouts manually.

Nayax CEO and Co-Funder Yair Nechmad said the AI capabilities are intended to simplify operations and help customers improve profitability by providing actionable insights and faster decision-making. The AI features are rolling out to MoMa users on iOS and Android in all markets where the app is available.
