ModiFace released a tool called the ModiFace Mirror which will allow users to simulate the effects of various makeup on their face using augmented reality technology. According to Consumer Electronics, the ModiFace mirror will be available both from an iOS app and kiosks.
The app allows users to test the look of every single ModiFace makup product with a live 3D video. However, the ModiFace kiosks are even more advanced. The instant a prospective customer looks at the kiosk, it matches their face with an ideal look and shows them how they would look with their products.
When the user goes up to the kiosk, they can not only test out individual looks, they can also scan their current makeup, lip gloss or other beauty products to find ModiFace’s products which closely match the user’s current products.
Users can try out the app for free and retailers can order a ModiFace kiosk via their website.
