Milwaukee to have free Wi-Fi kiosks for Democratic convention

Visitors to the Democratic National Convention this summer will have the convenience of 35 free Wi-Fi digital kiosks downtown, thanks to a partnership between CityPost and The Hop, the city's streetcar service, according to a WTMJ-TV report.

Each dual sided kiosk will have 55-inch touchscreens that will be fully ADA accessible, displaying local content about transit, community events, landmarks and other information. The kiosks will have security cameras linked into the police department's existing surveillance network.
