Michigan adds traffic ticket pay to self-service stations

WWJ Newsradio 950 (Detroit): Michigan Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land has expanded some license renewal self-service stations to include the ability to pay parking and traffic tickets. The trial includes the Washtenaw County Plus Office, where Ann Arbor residents can pay any civil-infraction ticket under the jurisdiction of the 15th District Court. "Our customers have made self-service stations a huge hit, and I hope that in time we can create partnerships with courts throughout the state," Land said. "I encourage area residents to take advantage of this convenient option."
