Health care kiosk manufacturer Computerized Screening Inc. has partnered with Doctor on Demand to offer doctor telepresence services on its kiosks, according to a press release. This service will be offered on the CSI Virtual eClinic Health Systems.
The goal of this partnership is to offer three elements: a doctor on demand protocol, virtual video conferencing and trained physicians who understand the nuances of telemedicine.
"After eight years, we have finally found a company that truly understands the needs of the consumers and offers the three critical key elements that were needed," said Charles Bluth, CEO and president of CSI. "In addition, Doctor On Demand does not charge a monthly fee to corporations for their employees but only charges a $40 Consultation Fee."
"At Doctor On Demand, our mission is to fix the access problem to high quality, affordable health care," said Doctor on Demand co-founder and CEO Adam Jackson. "We solve this problem by connecting patients via Video Visit with our own board certified doctors. Partnering with the market leader and pioneer in medical kiosks allows us to serve even more patients and do so with better and more accurate medical diagnostic information in real time."
