Food company Hormel Food's employees will now be able to access medical services while at work, with new Mayo Clinic Health System kiosks. Mayo Clinic recently deployed its telemedicine kiosk to the business, according to areport by KIMT.
The kiosks allow users to have telepresence conference sessions with physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. The kiosks also come with several tools to allow patients to check their body temperature, blood pressure, heart rate and other elements.
"We are always looking for ways to offer our employees the best benefit resources possible," said Tom Brown, assistant director of employee benefits at Hormel Foods in a press release. "These kiosks will allow our employees quick and convenient access to outstanding medical care from the staff at Mayo Clinic Health System."
In addition to Hormel, Mayo Clinic also entered a partnership with Austin Public Schools in Austin, Minnesota, earlier this year to deploy the kiosks to students and employees.
