Marijuana kiosks holding cash securely in Colorado

Marijuana dispensers from Janefour20 act as a cash register and vault to avoid theft.

Janefour20, the provider of financial products for marijuana dispensaries, has deployed several dispensary kiosks in Colorado, according to a report by ABC 7News Denver.

In order to avoid theft, cash is not handled by retail employees at the marijuana dispensaries. Instead, it is kept in the kiosk until an armored vehicle from the company picks it up, so the kiosk serves as both a cash register and a vault, according to the Janefour20 website.

"We're basically solving most of the problems that dispensaries face today," Janefour20 Vice President Karla Guarino told 7News. Janefour20's kiosks are currently only available in Colorado, with plans to expand to Oregon and Washington.
