Maclocks released its latest iPad lock and stand, the Cling-On Stand, designed to provide higher security and functionality for tablets.
The Cling-On is compatible with several tablet models. It consists of high-grade steel and tamper-proof screws for tightening the brackets around a tablet device and locking it to the stand base. The 90-degree rotation allows the screen to function in either landscape or portrait mode, or the bracket can be locked to disable rotation mode, the company said.
Users can bolt Cling-On to a flat surface or mount it to a wall by screwing together the mounting holes with the base of the stand. Paired with a Maclocks security lock, the Cling-on can function as a free-moving kiosk. Users can add the optional swivel plate to the stand to enable Cling-on to spin, a function designed for retail kiosks, public displays and desktop companions, the company said.
