Industrial and embedded computing provider Logic Supply has introduced new rugged PCs from Tiawanese company Cincoze, the company said.
The Cincoze DS-1000 and DC-1100 have been manufactured for harsh environments, where dirt, dust, temperature and shock and vibration are of concern. Both feature a fanless and ventless chassis design and can accommodate remote surveillance, data acquisition and workstation applications.
The Cincoze DS-1000 includes Intel Haswell desktop processing and the Intel Q87 chipset and offers support for Intel vPro and virtualization technology. Capable of configuration up to 32 GB of RAM, the DS-1000 can withstand temperatures from -10 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius and features eight USB ports, six RS-232/422/285 COM ports, eight-bit DIO, dual Display Ports, and DVI-I. A removable front plate conceals a 2.5-inch HDD bay, CFast and SIM card slots and a CMOS battery.
The Cincoze DC-1100 features a quad-core Intel Bay Trail E3845 processor. Designed to be energy efficient, the DC-1100 draws less than 20 watts of power and supports power input from nine to 48 volts. Its compact, rugged design, intended to protect from dirt, dust and vibration, can operate in temperatures ranging from -20 degrees Celsius to 70 degrees Celsius. The DC-1100 comes with four USB ports, four RS-232/422/485 COM ports, dual Gb LAN, programmable eight-bit DIO, DVI-I and a Display Port. It leverages externally accessible CFast and SIM card slots and dual PCIe Mini Card slots for wireless connectivity.
