New York City residents who want to send an anonymous thank you note to someone who helped them in a time of need are being invited to do so using the city's LinkNYC kiosks, according to a Gothamist report.
A woman who was helped by strangers when she suffered a seizure initiated the project and is working with LinkNYC to encourage other people to post notes conveying their gratitude. The woman, Charlotte Rea, is collecting the notes, which will be posted at kiosks throughout the city at summer's end.
