Kiosks send directions to smart phones at Mall of America

December 5, 2016

Six interactive kiosks have been installed at the Mall of America in Minneapolis to help guests search for shopping, dining, attractions, parking, ATMs and restrooms, according to The Minneapolis St.Paul Business Journal. The kiosks allow users to send information to their smartphones.

The kiosks were created by Express Image, a St. Paul-based print and digital solutions provider. Once a user picks what they’re looking for, the kiosk gives directions.

Express Image spokeswoman Ann Marie Keene said since the pilot test began 11 days ago, the six directories have had more than 200,000 touches and 15,000 unique visitors.
