Kiosk manufacturer AVT Inc. recently launched a special kiosk that dispenses Rainbow Doritos. It was deployed for a limited time at the Dallas Pride event, according to a press release.

The kiosk did not sell the Doritos but instead vended them to visitors who gave a $10 donation to the "It Gets Better" Project, a nonprofit that attempts to prevent suicide among LGBT youth. During the promotion, the kiosk generated $100,000 in donations.

The initial idea was developed by advertising agency Goodby Silverstein & Partners to create the Rainbow Doritos.

"We are delighted to be a part of this event and help create a machine that proved to be highly engaging and productive," said Wayne Salvino, president of AVT, in the release. "We know that there are many vending machine companies in the nation, and we are proud that we continually get the calls from companies and their agencies when something really special and customized needs to be built."
