Students at Hanford, California high schools will soon be able to purchase school supplies and learn about school events through new interactive kiosks. These kiosks are being installed by SkoolLive LLC, a company that specializes in school kiosks
At first, students will only be able to receive information about school events and safety notifications. However, farther down the road, students will also be able to purchase school-related products via the kiosks.
SkoolLive agreed to put in these kiosks for free as long as the school allows them to advertise their events to students. The advertisements will be placed directly on the kiosks and will be subject to approval by the Hanford district.
Currently, the district and SkoolLive are working to determine a safe place to keep the kiosks to avoid theft. Until then, the school will perform a trial run with a portion of the total number of kiosks. The school district plans to deploy the entire collection with full functionality this summer.
