Helsinborg, Sweden selects Infinitus outdoor kiosks from Zytronic

The city of Helsingborg, Sweden, has selected Infinitus digital signage kiosks to deploy a network of interactive outdoor digital totems for residents and visitors, according to Zytronic, a provider of custom-designed, projected capacitive technology touch sensors.

The city, which is close to Copenhagen, decided to create an outdoor network of six custom-touch interactive digital totems to message citizens and help tourists find their ways around. The city needed custom designed units that would work reliably in the cold Scandinavian winters, requiring a minimum amount of attention on-site after installation, according to Zytronic.
