Genmega, GetBranded.com partner on in-factory branding

To assist ATM deployers in their branding efforts, Fremont, Calif.-based ATM manufacturer Genmega has teamed up with GetBranded.com to offer factory-installed wraps for their 1900 and 2500 model off-premises ATMs.

getbranded.com genmegaGenmega will offer generic wraps in three colors — blue, green and black — and custom branding kits using the EasyBrand system and SharkSkin technology, a proprietary material developed specifically for ATM and kiosk wraps.

When placing orders, Genmega customers will have the choice of custom or generic kits to be installed prior to shipping. The generic kits will be stocked by Genmega, the custom kits will take a few days to produce. Custom design is included at no additional charge with the purchase of the wrap.

Depending on the location, industry statistics report that branded ATMs do an average of 20 percent to 40 percent more transactions than non-branded terminals. A news release from the companies explained that it lends credibility to the terminal and is an inexpensive marketing tactic that helps increase awareness.

"Our partnership with GetBranded.com is good news for our customers," said Wes Dunn, Genmega VP of sales. "It means ATM deployers will no longer have to worry about coordinating shipping of the wrap and ATM to the location or training technicians to wrap the ATM. The wrap can now be professionally installed prior to leaving our facility — ready to go out of the box. The branding kits will also add visual pop to the ATM allowing it to stand out in visually competitive environments."

Daniel Beavers, president of GetBranded.com, touted the one-stop shopping experience enabled by the Genmega deal.
