Versatile Credit, a Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania-based provider of technology linking lenders with consumers, announced today a partnership with Genesis Credit as a secondary lending source for Versatile Credit kiosk solutions.
Versatile Credit kiosks provide North American consumers access to in-store retail credit applications. If consumers are denied credit by the primary lender, Versatile's system automatically transfers their applications to a secondary lender.
"Genesis Credit delivers exceptional customer service alongside its customer credit solutions," said Rob Meyer, executive vice president of product and marketing at Versatile Systems. "We know that adding access to second-look lenders such as Genesis Credit reduces credit denials by up to 40 percent, increases sales and drives more revenue for our customers."
"This partnership brings Genesis' industry-leading consumer products to retailers that prefer the self-service kiosk model and creates opportunity for both companies to satisfy more retailers and consumers," said Patrick Moore, chief operating officer at Genesis Financial Solutions, parent company of Genesis Credit.
Retailers typically see a 20 percent increase in credit applications and a 15 percent increase in retail transactions after installing the kiosks, Versatile said.
