Gamber-Johnson enters retail market with payment terminal stands

Gamber-Johnson, a supplier of mounting systems for mobility applications, is launching products designed for Luxe 8500i payment terminals from Equinox Payments, a provider of payment terminals, software and services. Featuring a low swivel stand and short clevis stand option, the products add flexibility to the consumer/associate interaction, according to a press release.

"The global POS terminals market is a billion dollar industry that is rapidly growing and we believe our offering brings the durable construction retail environments desire," Garrett Neta, product marketer, said in the release. "We have extensive experience building products that withstand the harshest conditions, while also providing improved user ergonomics, so the move into the point-of-sale/retail environment is a national progression to grow our business."

The product offerings for the Luxe 8500i include: 

  • Equinox Luxe 8500i low swivel stand: Rotates 120 degrees creating swivel movement for added usability.
  • Equinox Luxe 8500i short clevis stand: Rotates 120 degrees creating swivel movement and also tilts up a maximum of 45 degrees for increased comfort and ergonomic benefit.

Payment terminals can be mounted on a variety of surface thicknesses and are constructed with corrosion resistance for long term durability and added cost benefit. All Gamber-Johnson payment terminal mounting solutions are PCI compliant.
